They seem to use a bunch of stuff from Assassin's Creed. The character animation and some of the icons that appear over objects are very similar. Looks interesting though.
Yeah now that you mention it. Probably the same engine.

Pretty weak conferences today. Hopefully Nintendo can save the show tomorrow. MS conference was one of the worst ever at E3. They should have passed and just had a booth.
Honestly I can't stand 3D. I put up with it at the theatre because I have no other choice but it's something I would love to see go away. I find it extremely straining on my eyes and it doesn't really add anything to the experience. It's also very annoying wearing a set of 3D glasses over my regular glasses. In summary, 3D sucks lol.
To me, if you want realism/immersion, you want 3D. I wear glasses to, but I can switch to contacts for 3D gaming. 3D gaming is different from 3D movies, in part because you can adjust the seperation (if that's what causing your eyestrain).
After watching that I had some hope that it would be a post-apocalyptic survival game WITHOUT zombies, but a quick reading of its wiki page tells me otherwise. PS3 only anyway, by the looks of it, so doesn't matter to me.
Apparently they decided to turn Deadspace into Gears of War?
Gears of War: Judgement:
And in more terrible Splinter Cell news, Michael Ironside is officially no longer the voice of Sam Fisher. http://kotaku.com/5915764/michael-ir...-is?tag=e32012
How does this work? Ironside IS Fisher. How can you make a Splinter Cell game and have someone else do Sam's voice?

They aren't necessarily "zombies" since they're infected. But I know what you mean. From what I understand, the main focus is simply on survival and interactions with other humans. In that, ammo and health packs as well as resources are rare. It looks "too-good-to-be-true" scripted, but if the entire gameplay runs as flawlessly as the demo then it will be an amazing game. The brutality of the violence, especially at the end is what got me.
We are definitely going to have to set up a CP world in the new SimCity game so we can all build our own cities and send toxic waste to irradiate each other's cities.
