I fully agree. In cattle class however Singapore Airlines and Cathay tend to have much smaller seats and less leg room.

But the economy service in Cathay blew AC out of the water for overseas travel. Although to be fair, I've only flown AC over the Atlantic and CX over the Pacific.

I've had horrible service with Cathay, and better service with AC going overseas. But, Singapore Airlines blows everyone out of the water.

That wouldn't be the case in the union I belong to. I could get fired for looking the wrong way. What the union does do is protect my working conditions and my wages. Now there maybe some unions who protect people who slack off but to generalize shows you don't know what you are talking about. If in case what you say could be true, maybe you should organize and you can go on CP all you like.

I can't believe all you slackers who spend your working time on the net and than complain about union workers having it soft.
