i still think nothing will compare to the realism that Band of Brothers got, since it was a true story and they had the veterans themselves to tell what happened. Generation Kill is the only modern day war series or movie to get to that same level, because the same formula was used. no glorification, no explosions for the sake of explosions, just what soldiers really go through in the field of battle
