Have you thought about home schooling? You can teach them all about how tough the white man has it then...None of this brainwashing you get in those mainstream public schools.

The ignorance is astounding. Look at all the school shootings in the last 10 years and tell me how many of them were white and then tell me how many were "colored".

And I'm brown and wore Halloween costumes every single Halloween as a kid and so did 99% of the brown people I know.

Putting on a mask to rob the liquor store doesn't count.

whatever, Calgary schools ban Halloween costumes because of fear of alienating people with other religious beliefs. On the same token if a Canadian moved to India I would expect them to try to integrate into society not change it

its not a black, white, red, thing...its a culture thing and in the big cites of Canada we are losing it

I find that those that are uncomfortable with Halloween and Christmas in schools are "Caucasian" busy-body administrators. I have yet to see a minority offended by Christmas or Halloween, in schools or otherwise.

But carry on. This is entertaining.

Halloween is now a religious belief? had no idea.

And which schools have banned halloween costumes? Elementary and Junior high schools? Haven't heard anything like that, but if they did I bet it has more to do with a safety issue not a "religious" issue.

Do Muslim's do the whole Jewish Lightning thing? Or do they have their own name for it? This would be like a modified version.

Step 1: Get your son to rob your family owned liquor store.
Step 2: Claim insurance on stolen goods
Step 3: Profit!!!

Remember when we were talking about living in Airdrie? That was fun.

fact is in Airdrie you have Halloween costumes, thousands of kids trick or treating ect. In Calgary every other house is dark on Halloween

this is one of those things I can't win...their are certain pool halls in Calgary that a white guy can't go in yet if I say I want my kids to grow up with my idea of canadian culture and values I am the biggest racist in the world

I think a couple schools banned 'scary' costumes this year, I think they blamed it on not wanting to scare the little kids that don't celebrate halloween. I don't recall any jr or sr highs banning costumes of any kind.

Maybe people just don't want to give kids candy? Plus kids are lazy today always going to the mall to do trick-o-treating.

You're right. Our Canadian culture of the beautiful pool hall is being ripped from our hands. It's time for action!
