Miles Austin almost single handedly won my matchup this week. That last TD effort was unreal.

my game is getting a little close for comfort. Went into the night game with a 40 point cushion but Ryan and McCoy took care of that. Down to a 10 point cushion and Bradshaw vs Mike Sims Walker tomorrow night.

Depite my hatred of the Falcons, I was at least happy to see my TE Gonzalez get so many points...until I checked and realized I left him on my bench...for Finley, who was quiet once again. Few things GMG more than big points left on the bench.

My dilemma of which WR's to start was a moot point. I got destroyed in both my leagues this week.

One team was up against Miles, the other team was up against Jackson.

I got lucky with my matchup and won despite the fact that I wasted 4 of my first 5 picks on Arian Foster, Hakeem Nicks, Peyton Manning, and Marques Colston who all were on my bench this week. One of Nicks or Floyd better get healthy for next week because I have nothing left on my bench.

Well, I benched Blount and put in Starks based on the last minute advice of some Yahoo fantasy "experts" and it cost me the win this week. Baltimore's defence didn't do me any favours mind you...

Ugh, going into the Sunday nighter, I had a 13 point lead plus DeSean Jackson and Julio Jones to go. I was feeling good. Thought it would be close at worst, but I would come out with the win. Oh, I failed to mention how the guy I was playing had Gonzalez, Philly D and of course, he had Maclin. I ended up losing by 45 points.

Just a brutal Sunday night.

I have Foster with a wonky hammy, Austin might miss a couple games, DeSean hurt his forearm last night and I'm 0-2. Looks like I donated my $350 this year.

Sooo, I pulled a major deal today. My team was injury riddled (lost Charles and Colston so far) and my QB's were awful.

Team: QB-Cassel/Collins, RB-CJ/JC/Fred Jackson/Tate, WR-VJax/Colston/Evans, TE-Clark.

I traded CJ+Colston+7th Rd pick for Jahvid Best/Josh Freeman/Mike Williams (TB).

Thomas Jones
Joe Flacco

For:
Mathew Stafford
Kyle Orton

Keys:
I already have Hightower, Rice and Bradshaw, so Jones would be at best an emergency filler or flex option, otherwise he is rotting on the bench.
I got Stafford for the obvious upgrade to Flacco and Orton as I don't have a backup QB and Stafford could get hurt due to his history.

I like the deal on my end unless I'm missing something? Thoughts?

Did the guy already agree to that? If so, that's highway robbery on your end. If I was trading Matt Stafford I'd want a hell of a better back in return than Jones. I'd take Orton over Flacco too. Good job if you can pull that one off, absolutely fleecing. I sure as hell wouldn't take that trade if I were him.

So what are you guys thoughts on McCluster?

I'm banged up on WR. Colston, Floyd and Jackson. I'm good at Running back with MJD and Turner. We can only carry 3 RB's and 4 WR's/TE's and my third RB is Pierre Thomas. I'm considering dropping Thomas to pick up McCluster and dress him as a WR untill my WR's get healthy. Jackson looks like he should play, there is a chance Floyd wont play and Colston as you know is out. Burlesson is available i'm 3rd in waiver order and have put in a claim for him so I find out if i get him in favour of Floyd tommorrow.

Its a 14 team league and whats available is pretty slim. No trade league either. Just trying to dress a full roster for the next few weeks. My RB's don't hit a bye week till week 8 so I should be done with McCluster by then. Do you think its worth getting McCluster?

Yeah, basically his running backs (Charles, Moreno) are hurt and he went into panic mode looking for a starting running back. I wasn't sure if there was something wrong when I woke up to that proposal this morning.

HE offered it?? Are you trading with this guy?


He could get a much better RB in return for fantasy's current #3 QB on the points list if he just shopped around a little. I say pull the trigger before he comes to his senses.

I don't know what McCluster's going to do, but from a Saints perspective I don't see it backfiring too badly by dropping Thomas for him. Mark Ingram seems to be entrenched as the goal line back, and Sproles is playing a much larger part in the offence than I thought he would (wish I would've taken him over Ingram in the late rounds of my draft). PT still gets his touches and has looked like the best straight rusher on the team so far in this very young season, but most of his touches seem to be between the 20's. Injuries aside, I don't see him getting in the endzone too often this year.

I think it's worth dropping PT to take a chance on McCluster if you need him.
