Lol I'm on my iPhone and it has the stupid auto correct so it just changes words and I'm not paying attention to it.
Brodie looks to be a legit top 4 for us this year

I'm a fan of Brodie. He really took his shot and ran with it last year. Points wise he wasn't the greatest but when you can walk out of a 9-0 drubbing with an even +/- you're doing something right.

Considering Schultz already looks like Lidstrom out there, that would be fantastic.

Brodie is going to need a solid extra 10 pounds to avoid getting manhandled and/or injured in a regular top-4 role. And I definitely see him getting a regular second pairing role this year or next year.
Better start eating your ice cream, buddy.

Exactly. I was thinking Orr but Lidstrom works too.

I would expect about 20 to 25 points. Third line icetime, #2 PP time as the QB and a tiny bit of PK time here and there to help round out his game.

my expectations are modest.
- 20-25 points which is the same or a little better than his pace for 82 games
- slightly tougher minutes than this past season

I really do think that he needs to be in the line-up this year from start to finish. I know that almost 100% of the time, you want a merit based system regardless of age, but once in a while you need to throw them out there for development purposes.

He could be the next Gretzky if wanted, but he just doesn't have any interest in playing forward.

I instantly developed a dislike for Parise after his comments about Brodie after that clean hit near the end of the game against the Devils last season. Looking forward to seeing how much ice time they see against each other next season
