Surprising. I honestly saw Toronto winning this game.

Maybe a healthy Pierce will be a big difference for the peg this year.

Really, the defense has stepped it up. Special teams and kicking are still a huge issue.

It's only half-time though. Tons of game left.

Really nice game by AC who doesn't look like age is a factor the way he's making all the throws look easy even against an awful Riders defense. Anderson was really good today for the Als.

Riders in tough next couple of weeks too.

In Hamilton then in Montreal then back at home to Cgy.

They could go 1-4 to start the season.

I'm interested to see if Ricky Ray can look good again this week. With some decent receivers and Oline he could regain some of his former glory and have the Esks be the surprise team in the West this year.

Boy is Hamilton ever terrible. How long is it going to take before the Cats realize that Kevin Glenn isn't starting material?

We have heard the past couple years that they might be able to challenge Montreal for tops in the East, unless something drastic happens it wont be this year, imo.

Being 2nd in the East is like being 4th in the West as they simply aren't that good. Bellefeuille is in way over his head as a head coach. I'm surprised the patience they have afforded him given he get's out-coached on a regular basis.

The Riders look terrible.
Lucky to only be down 9-0 after one quarter.
Hamilton is close to scoring again.

Just read on a Riders forum that Elliot is out for the year with Torn ACL.

I wonder who starts next week if Pearce is not ready to go.
