Yep, and he also had a wife and 2 little kids... the kind of guy that sells Lincolns. If John Daly did the same, nobody bats an eye...

how can you not love this:
Quote:
On Alcoholics Anonymous:
"It's the work of sissies. The only thing I'm addicted to is winning. This bootleg cult, arrogantly referred to as Alcoholics Anonymous, reports a 5 percent success rate. My success rate is 100 percent. Do the math … another one of their mottoes is 'Don't be special, be one of us.' Newsflash: I am special, and I will never be one of you! I have a disease? Bull####! I cured it with my brain, with my mind. I cured it, I'm done … you don't look like you're having a lot of fun. I'm gonna hang out with these two smoking hotties and fly privately around the world. It might be lonely up here but I sure like the view, Alex!"
The guy is moving into 'American Legend' catagory. Listen to the audio if you haven't. Reading it out of context just takes away from the crazy-goodness the interview has:

I agree, expectations and perception of the two men are completely different, but the lifestyles are similar.

edit: And just to grind your gears, what is a tenant of a marketing strategy? I'm not sure if it is possible to actually rent property from a marketing strategy .

That whole article is incredible, if you so much as question how he lives his life his answer is "I win".

Insert F-18 reference, hotties, power of his mind, winning.

Sklar Bros Sheen tweets:

http://twitter.com/sklarbrothers

Emilio Estevez is probably like, "great, now I have to dangle a baby if I want 2 keep up with my brother in the crazy dept."

Charlie Sheen said that he had "magic and poetry at his fingertips" at all times. Magic and Poetry are strippers, right?

Sheen's rant will be the benchmark by which all other crazy crack ladened rants are measured. Robert Mugabe: that means u 2.

The most unbelievable part of the Sheen rant was him confirming that there's going to be a Major League 3

For Charlie Sheen, his apocalypse is now.

I would say that tenet/tenant is one of the more common malapropisms. Not many people have actually seen the word tenet written out.

Oh and Charlie Sheen is bat***t crazy and selfish. I donn't know why people think it's okay for celebrities to never grow up and accept responsibility just because they have money...

And Charlie screws a lot of people out of jobs as well. Good going.

I thought this was officially derailed after Wesley Snipes was sentenced to prison?

pfft, I hear Omar Epps is looking for work.

Or they can replace Willy Mayes Hayes with a new character Bill Bob Ruth (Hits like Ruth explodes like Billy Bob) I hear that there are several fat white actors looking for work.

Ahahahahahahaha!

"Discussing Major League 3 on his friend Jones's radio show, Sheen said: "I haven't read it (the script); I don't care. It's being directed by a genius named David Ward who, I don't know, won the Academy Award at 23 for writing The Sting.

"It was his pen and his vision that created the classic that we know today as Major League. In fact, a lot of people think the movie's called The Wild Thing - as they should. Whatever, I agreed to do it, there's just one deal point that Jim Robinson, a wonderful man at Morgan Creek, needs to work out. If they want me in it, it's a smash, if they don't, it's a turd that opens on a tugboat.""

Wow. He had a complete an utter puff piece with that ###### bag interviewer...and he turned it into a complete blow-induced meltdown.

The Rome caller reference is most appropriate. I don't like the calls on Rome and this one was just as annoying.

I'm sure you're aware that celebrity tabloids tend to exaggerate and lie more than any other sector of the media. We really don't have a great idea as to how bad things really are for Charlie Sheen. I'm sure the guy loves his kids like any dad, and spends time with them when he's allowed to according to his divorce agreements.

In other news ......Major League 3 !!!

I think its fine. If he wants to live his life this way, its his life, who is anyone else to tell him how to live it?

Sure, he may not win any father of the year awards, the sad thing is, theres worse fathers in this world than Charlie Sheen. If hes cool with it, then thats his business, I'm not about to tell him how to be a good dad.

There are lots of people in this world who dont give a rat's ass about their own kids. They are generally not considered 'good people' by the social norm. Is Charlie Sheen a 'good person?' Social norm or otherwise I think most would lean towards 'no,' but again, if hes cool with that, then thats his business.

Do his kids get a bit of a raw deal? Absolutely. But then again, if he wants to live his life the way he does then there are consequences he has to deal with, thats one of them.

As for his cast and crew, yeah, that sucks, but at the same time its not the first time and it wont be the last time that a star has ended a lot of jobs. One could even interpret it as part of the nature of the business. That show was going to end sooner or later at some point anyways just like all shows and movies do and everyone has to move on.

I guess my point is, he is a selfish jerk who is living large on money, fame and reputation, and apparently enjoying every second of it. There are consequences to his lifestyle, physical, mental and emotional consequences that he seems prepared and willing to accept to continue keeping on keeping on. In which case, again, its his life and he is free to with it as he chooses, others may not agree with his decisions, but they're not the ones making those decisions or having to live with them.
