Dude, the only way you gain that kind of weight is a massive tumor, so to not crush your dream....here's to hoping.

Forget 60lbs, go for 303lbs!!!

Not true at all.

Depending upon his age, height and how skinny he is, and I seem to remember he's young, skinny and tall, he can put that kind of weight on in a lot less than 3 years.

I'm 21, not sure why it is so ######ed to be 200+ lbs? I'm 6'3", 200lbs would look normal.

My dad, before his recent gut, was 200lbs and could take most people down. I just want to be like my dad in his prime.

At 6'3" you're not a man unless you're at least 200 lbs!

I vote you just get really ridiculously huge right now. GQ says we're supposed to right?

If you're really that skinny then it's going to be hard enough to even gain 20 pounds of muscle, let alone 60. If you're 6'3", 140 pounds I can already tell you that you don't have the genetics to be a monster.

Go to the butcher, and just look at 10lbs of beef, let alone 60!!!

If he's done growing....there's no way he's tacking on 60, unless some very unusual circumstances occur (juice, physical abnormality, lead diapers).

Here's the case of a 20 year old who put on 55 pounds in 11 weeks.

So it is certainly possible. It's just that some people don't want to put the effort in to get results so they claim it isn't possible.

24 lbs of it was fat, though. It'll take forever to burn that off.

Not really. And it's not much of an issue for someone who was skinny to start with.

Looks like almost every player on the Flames in overweight then! No wonder they missed the playoffs!

One anecdotal case of 31 pounds of muscle. That's a stretch

Every day I see tons of ad's for losing weight, or people talking about losing weight. I am the exact opposite, I need to gain weight, a lot of it.

Hell, If I gain 15 lbs by years end I'll be happy.
You need to lift heavy.....very heavy, if you want to gain that kind of weight.

Nestle Quick? Ah, I see where you are coming from now, cost wise; I mix the protein powder with water. Though you can mix it with milk, it's actually formulated to be mixed with water.

Heavy weight (1 - 4 reps) results more in neural adaptations.

What does 6'3" and 148 lbs look like? Can't imagine it looks "normal".

Hahaha, the BMI is one of the worst indicators of a healthy weight you can find. It does not take into account bone density, body type, muscle mass vs. excess fat mass. It would be like using the +/- statistics in hockey as the be all and end all of statistical analysis of a players worth.
