Maybe they've been bought out, but at the time (15+ years ago) there was one company that supplied most of the restaurants.

That would be good, but I think the dressing has changed then over the years. On a related note, we finally found a good tzatziki sauce with Calamari down here. Everywhere it's marinara this, marinara that. Calamari was meant to be dipped in tzatziki.

The Place in Bowness makes a nice pizza. Pizza Bobs is ok but man is that place dirty inside.

I blame the Fan960 for their constant pimping of that place. I have tried 2 different ones and wont ever try them again.

I've only been there once, but I have to agree. It was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had.

He still works there? I was going to say it was not bad when your buddy worked there.

So, what is the name of the place in Bowness?
The owner of Pizza Bobs is a huge conspiracy theorist, according to one of the regulars I know.

true, though the regular crust ones always seem to need longer to cook for me (maybe my oven just sucks)
coco brooks has awesome pizza, and perfect size for one person!

Is it because he's tired of it? Seriously, Tom makes a decent pie and it's something different from the average Joe Dominoes/Pizza Hut/etc. everyman pizzas out there. Especially for the thin crust fans.

Add in another vote for Al's Pizza in the NW. Tried Varsity a few times, but it was way too greasy.

Coco Brooke's cheese got pretty strange, the last batch i had at my house reminded my of a tasteless cream cheese under a bit of crusty cheese.

Well, with Famoso being neapolitan pizza, it's not that crappy thin crust pizza places serve as an appy, that gives it such a bad rap. the fact they cook the pizza for only 90 seconds means the toppings don't get all soggy, and limits the grease. Add in some amazing flavours and tastes, and i can't eat any other pizza in the city any more. Try the Vittoria.

Did not see any mention of it but Vina Pizza and Steak House on 19th ST NW has fantastic pizza, my favorite in the city.
