Nicely done.
The only thing i can think of is how we acquired Lawrence Nycholat in 03-mar-09. The only reason i remember is that i read an article on how we acquired him, and how he was a calgary boy and all the excitement that he was experiencing to play in CGY. The next day we traded him away. Pretty epic.
Edit: oh crap, nvm, we peeled him off of waivers.

Great list. There are a few players that I never realized that played for the Flames. I was even surprised that there were some traded and signed more than once.

One correction, it should be Philadelphia and not Washington

Wait, am I seeing correctly? Did we trade McCarthy and a pick that landed Brad Freakin' Richards for ####ty Jason Wiemer? Have we ever had a good GM?

The Phaneuf trade and the ones following are starting to follow the same pattern for the Flames again.

Yeah, Fletcher until he became the Leaf's GM. You can guess what happened in the early 90's or look from the list Jan 2nd, 1992.

This would've completely changed 2004. A seemingly insignificant trade at the time..
Perhaps this will teach people to importance of 2nd and 3rd round picks in trades.

Ok, clearly I know we've had a good G.M., but from Doug Risebrough to Al Coates, to Craig Button, to later Darryl Sutter, to Jay (I got a couple things right) Feaster, we just haven't had anyone that consistently does a good job at being a G.M.
When you see some of these deals on paper, even now with all the emotion taken out of it and hindsight clearly a factor, they are just some really terrible, awful decisions.

I think this was a fifth round pick.
