Every joke on Big Bang is one of the three:
- Penny doesn't get something
- Sheldon uses overly "smart" talk in an awkward situation
- Sheldon pisses Lenard off while being "witty" with his intelligence
That is all that freaking happens. The only two characters that I think are funny are Raj and Howard.
Don't get me wrong, I understand why Community isn't a ratings darling. I have no issue with funny shows like Modern Family and Two and a Half Men which are more accessible beating it... But Big Bang? It is worse then EVERY established comedy on NBC.

You can simplify pretty much every sitcom into it's mainstay jokes. If you have gotten bored if it that's fine but seems like most of the tv watching population disagrees with you since it again topped the ratings in it's Thurs timeslot.
Hell Mike and Molly is just one big fat joke but it's back for another season.
I still enjoy Big Bang quite a bit personally.

Same. I'm kind of glad that HIMYM is on it's last season... the show feels really tired thus far.

Disagree. I thought it was well done... I can see it having a similer run as Third Watch.
One show I was more impressed with last night was Arrow. CW's take on the comic book character Green Arrow... felt as close to a Nolan-esq take on the superhero genre that episodic television can make. Plus I like seeing Paul Blackthorne get work.

I'm glad I wasn't the only person who really enjoyed Arrow. I will definitely be tuning in again next week.

Anyone else finding Person of Interest unbelievable? John is running away from three guys shooting at him in the season 1 ender and they can't hit him. It's getting outlandish for me. Same with the S2 premier.

I would not be surprised to see Community and Whitney on a revamped NBC schedule the week of the 22nd (which would even allow them to air their Halloween episodes during Halloween week).
Community might actually pair up very well with Go On on Tuesdays.

i'm really enjoying the show, and think it's one of the best shows out there.
and when has is it ever 'beleivable' that it could actually happen in real life? It's TV. It's no different than what any other tv shows out there with a premise of a guy who kicks people's asses does.
I thought the premier of Arrow was good, and really enjoying Elementary so far too, not a whole lot of new TV shows this year that I am paying attention to.

Doesn't mean it is a good show. It is garbage.
When shows like Parks and Rec and Community are on the brink of cancellation and then TBBT is the highest rated show it just proves that the average american household has absolutely no taste in television when it comes to comedy.
This may seem opinionated, but it really isn't. Community is one of the highest rated shows critically (as is Parks and Rec), and TBBT gets destroyed because it simply isn't good.
I enjoy Kaley Cuoco's hot body and nothing more on that show (I used to like it, but it starts to wear extremely thin when literally every single line of dialogue has laughs from the crowd.)

I find Kaley Cuoco has gotten a lot worse looking recently.
She used to be hot back when she was on 8 Simple Rules (but her sister in that show was still hotter) and the first season of Big Bang but lately I'm not a fan. Plus her boobs look like they aren't aging very well (compare older pics of her to new ones).
The actress who plays Bernadette is actually smoke show though.

30 Rock is getting more absurd. Jenna always has some great lines though.

I thought the two episodes of Modern Family this week were terrific. Some great one liners.

I hear you. There are lots of scenes that are unbelievable, like when John demolishes four guys all the time in a fight. It's just that a scene where he's running through a parkade and four guys are shooting at him and they all miss, it's very unbelievable. That's all. I like the show too.
I do love the ass-kicking scenes, such as in the S1 opener in the bus.

Not the only one by a longshot... big ratings hit for CW. It's biggest premier since Vampire Dairies.

If it can hold a significant enough numbers off it's initial broadcast into it's second episode then it bodes well for the shows future.

And it's on Shaw 156/267HD in Calgary finally, as you mentioned in that other thread (that was you, wasn't it?)
Only I am having trouble with the HD channel today. I get sound but a blank picture . Hopefully it gets fixed by 8pm tonight.

It's probably because your PVR or cable box is too old. I have the same problem with some of those channels.
