Oh yeah, but Americans are built different for sports watching. Up here we whine and complain if our sports aren't scheduled perfectly to our perceived best times.

Americans just wake up and get going no matter when you schedule the game. I love it

What an awful call against the Panthers at the end, completely out of the flow of the game. They let so much go and call that? Terrible.

Tkachuk starts off at 2ppg. Bennett looked really great out there, too.

Great defensive effort, great physicality while being disciplined, and very good job at finding the spots to pot a few goals (wasn't easy, Tampa actually playing much better defense than from what I've seen out of them all year).

It just shows that at this point in the cycle, the Panthers are a deeper team that play a stronger all around game. I really loved the Lundell line today. They were incredibly effective checking, and then pushed the puck in the offensive zone all game long. Even their 4th line spent most of the time in the offensive zone.

Barkov with two assists in this one. He's traditionally not been the strongest point producer in the playoffs, but this is a good start.

One game down, 3 to go.

Let's go Panthers!!!

Bennett is an absolute beauty. I can't believe Calgary let him go, one of Treliving's biggest mistakes. That guy is a warrior and born to win in the playoffs.

I'm not Canadian but if there was a war, I'd go to war with that guy. What a beautiful man.

Where would this team be if we could have just retained our dang talent?

Chucky, Bennett, Monahan, Gaudreau, Hanifin and many others. It makes you sick knowing how much our city/country is not attractive to most players.

WC2 going against Dallas again. 1st round pick traded for depth. Early playoff exit. Most of CP clamouring for a rebuild.

And its not like he showed us exactly that when he was 18 too. Such a shame, we waited forever for a guy like that.

Not sure who gave Jovo that mic, but they should never do it again.

We'd probably be a 2nd round fodder with no legit #1D (Pietrangelo, Hedman, Makar) and no legit #1C (Eichel, Stamkos/Point, Mackinnon's calibre)

I don't believe it's the city anymore. It's never been a country thing. Look at every other Canadian city . No other Canadian city has a retention of top talent problem . #### Winnipeg has made it further than us multiple times in the last decade. Ottawa is going to.have their tkachuk much longer than us. I did at one point but looking back at the history of this franchise it's always been management.

The teams managers is always #### because ownership has always been #### since 1990. Bad trades and bad drafting. Kidd over brodour etc etc... the only 2 highlights is Joe for Jerome,Sutter amusing Kipper, maybe Trelivings trade with Carolina, if you stretch it out. Got lucky on us picking tkachuk ( van flubbed) . Would also argue we picked out the park at JG in a fourth round.

Been a fan A LOOOONNNG TIME. Management has always sucked . Ownership has always been cheap. Mediocrity will always be baked in when shopping at Walmart, Kmart, target level for staff.
