Generally speaking, the worst teams will win about a third of their games, the best teams will lose about a third, and you can never tell which games they will be.

.386 would be 3rd worst in the league. They're 2nd worst even with the 0-10-1.
Then take out their top scorer and they still rolled a 6 on us. It was a bad game.

True, it was a bad game – but not inexplicable. It's not like the Flames are a powerhouse. A .386 team stands a decent chance of beating a .500 team on any given night.

Yeah, agreed.
Though they're actually a .318 team which makes it a lesser chance.

Looked like Pachal and Kylington got way more ice time today. I’m loving that since they will be promoted to 2nd line likely soon. Both were +3

I don’t understand this team. Get dummied by the Sharks and Red Wings and then beat the wheels off the Jets after going down 3-1. WTFF?

Makes you wonder that there is still a problem with overall professionalism
Monahan should be our captain

Ah! But you see...by saying you dont understand the team and then indicating the roots of your confusion you reveal the ultimate truth...that you do understand the team after all!
Perhaps the team is meant to be misunderstood or, further, perhaps...there is no team...we'll see...

Lol how is Montreal's record?
It's just the NHL, the gap is not that large

What problem with professionalism?
Teams go down and come back.
The Wild went down 5–1 and won 10-7, was it a problem for them as well?

Just watched the highlights and Mangiapane and Kadri looked like they were on steroids! Fantastic play by those two.
Shout out to the former Flame Monahan as well. This was the best case scenario. He gets a hat trick and we still win!

Montreals record? That has no bearing on what I said
I just think that Monahan would have been a great captain, but obviously he was traded and that’s water under the bridge
Instead
We have one half of the “I’m not having fun” twins leading this team.
I suppose it doesn’t matter either way though, because both will be long gone by the time this team is relevant again

I dont care what anyone says, Monahan has been one of my favourite players so he gets a hatty? Good for him!
Who can do it all?
Moneyhands...come back when you're ready.

Uh huh, I suppose that’s actually true. I’ve watched everything with this team since they moved to Calgary.
Zen indeed.

This is funny because 2 of his goals he was cleaning up the garbage.
He was always great finishing in close.

Thats his 'Bread and Butter.'
I wish Monahan nothing but the best, so him getting a Hatty and the Flames still getting the win?
I'll take it. Thats the best.
Moneyhands is a awesome.

Indeed.
He is as underrated as any player with that rare and valuable skill set, IMO.
