I was terrified to meet Mr Bragg, I don't care even half expect most famous people to be pricks and I have been rarely disappointed in that expectation but it would have broken my heart if he'd been a jerk but he wasn't, he spent half an hour asking me about who I was, top bloke in every respect

For those that don't know Prince Buster was a huge figure in Jamaican music, Ska to Rocksteady in the early to mid sixties, he was massively influential to the Two Tone Ska revival in the UK in the 70's, the Specials and Madness but he also instrumental in growing Ska into Rocksteady moving away from strict rythm into a more melodic soulful sound that became the basis for Reggae, if you listen to the video below bear in mind this was recorded in 1967, the bass and drums are huge, a template for what Reggae would become in 4 or 5 years

I've seen him perform a few times but only spoke to him after the last show, which was the same day Maggie Thatcher died. He's absolutely down to earth and one of my favourite singer/songwriters.

This was tough too. I saw a movie with Harry Connick Jr., think he was investigating a serial killer, and the killer was moving through a club, stalking, with Fame playing. It is one of those moments in film where a song really fits the moment well.
And Let’s Dance because when SRV’s solo kicks in, whammo! Big huge, thick, bluesy licks with tone for days. Awesome that Bowie saw him at Montreux and got him to sit in, recognizing what Stevie has well before he became a guitar legend
