Weird, seeing as he's been playing in California the last few years.

Tkachuk just set up Bennett for a tap in with a beautiful pass.

Yarncock with a dumb penalty that costs the Leafs the game...or is this supposed to be only good?

Looks like Valimaki played his first game tonight. Plus 1 in 13:47 of ice time.

Monahan with an OT assist.

Two guys I like to see do well.

Is it me or does 75% of Sam Bennett's goals end with him crashing over the goalie and ending up on his backside?

Valimaki playing solid against the Leafs and Monahan looking dynamic in overtime. What year is this, 2018?!?

Only thing I notice about Bennett now is that his shots are going into the net instead of hitting the post. He had miserable puck luck with the Flames.

1. lol at people who said Tkachuk wasn't going to put up points this year.
2. Love how Monny is playing so far.

I don't think anyone said he wouldn't put up points. They questioned 100+ points. We'll see.

Not a player but former Flames coach Mike Keenan to coach Italian National hockey team.

Mike Keenan will be leading the Italian men's national hockey team as head coach, the Italian Ice Sports Federation announced Tuesday.
Keenan, 72, coached eight teams in the NHL over a span of 25 years from 1984 to 2009.

I knew Chucky could put up points being the best player on his own line (He scored 77 points playing with Backlund and Frolik)

Tkachuk will put up points for sure, in the 70's area. But will he be able to put up points in the 90's area, nvm over a 100 points. Is a 70's point player worth the contract he is getting?

Considering he did nothing in his brief Flames' stint I think we can ignore his future achievements, if any.

If he bolts at the end of the season and gives them a couple wins to miss out on Bedard, see if they crow.

We all knew that it was a heavy price to pay. But Kadri signed > Monahan for 1 year.
