That'll be the Women's team. Making The Utah Brother Husbands the clear choice.

Blizzard would work I think.
We need more weather related and natural disaster names.
Calgary Wind
Los Angeles Earthquake
Edmonton Toilet Water

I saw the name the Utah Swarm. I really like that.
Or something dinosaur related.
Not sure they can do the raptors but maybe the Utah Dinos or something.

Kind of feels like no matter what they go with its going to come off a little minor leaguey.
But so did the Avalanche and the Wild initially (IMO).

I'm kind of against names that aren't real things. Still don't like avalanche and wild. It just comes across wishy washy. The Utah Feelings.
Utah Enraged Hamsters, is better than an abstract idea, or something without a personality. With the flames, fire actually looks creepily alive. Canucks it's literally referring to a people.
Probably why I never liked the Leafs. It's a friggin leaf.

No matter what they name the team we will get used to it and move on as what's a Flyer or Red Wing?

Avalanches are real things. That name is as close to Flames as there is in the league.
Not real? The Jersey Devil.

Avalanche's are pretty real things.
Agree I don't love the Wild.
Leafs are named after the Maple Leaf meat company, not the foliage.
I do like the Enraged Hamster idea though.

Too many of these names sound like comic book superheroes what you would hear someone called on American Gladiator.

Have I got a name for you....
The Utah 69ers. You end up with the tee-hee factor for 69, but it also pays homage to the year the Golden Eagles begin playing in Salt Lake.

Just use this:
We've become so focused on having all these modern, minimal, digital-friendly logos that are embedded with atleast half a dozen references to some phony non-existent symbol of the team or city that we've lost our appreciation for over-complicated, cheap looking early 2000's design that looks like it was made by an intern who just learned photoshop.

^ Doesn't Boston somehow have clout to not allow the league to have other "Bear-related" team names or something? Think this came up back when there was discussion/rumors on Vegas & Seattle's names.
