I know these kind of messages suck and I'm sorry... but it's hockey/NHL '19 related and for a good cause.
Did you know 22 military vets take their own lives everyday?
I want to bring your attention to a hockey military charity that's trying to lower that number by getting vets on the ice.
Beer League Talk is working on an awesome project called
CHEL-A-Thon 2018 for
Skate for the 22 Foundation.
Skate for the 22 is an organization that promotes military veteran suicide prevention and awareness.
The weekend that NHL ‘19 is released we will be playing and streaming it on
Twitch for 48 straight hours. Don't worry, it’s not all video games! We will have prizes, live podcasts, & maybe some special guests as well.
We’d be so grateful if you shot us a follow on
Twitch (
Here's our Twitch Account) and supported the event. If you’re interested in getting involved,
here's more info
Oh and yes... this is an American charity so Canadians won't be able to get tax incentives but I'd still be so grateful if you wanted to be involved in the event.
Thank you so much.
