With respect to SN, which is part of the group that owns the Jays, they couldn’t hold a candle to the FOX coverage of the big moments.
Thanks to those who posted the clips from FOX.

Dan and Buck get to call a WS.
Don't think either of them have. Buck used to do the international broadcast that Sportsnet picked up but I think he just did up to LCS.
But yes Fox unsurprisingly has a lot more production value.
I assume Joe Davis will do the national Fox broadcast for the WS. He's the Dodgers day to day PBP guy.

I'm just glad we get another series with Hazel Mae. She has to be in contention for best on field reporter in all of sports. So knowledgeable and when the moment is bigger than her she gets out of the way and let's the players soak it in. Besides that, Dan and Buck are incredible and i'm so happy for them.

I didn’t mean to criticize any of the SN announcers at all. Happy for all of them for sure.
I just meant FOX had so many more cameras. Eg the way they followed Springer all the way into the dug out and kept him in a close up for some time.
Anyway very happy for the Jays snd their fans. On the bandwagon for sure!

From mlb.com. Multiple broadcast outlets’ coverage of the Springer homer (towards the end of the article).

So, just really quickly I’d like to highlight what I said at the time to be the best pitch I’ve ever seen.
The strikeout pitch to Suarez. It started off looking like it was going to hit him in the head and ended up in the strike zone, and the correct call was made.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitch trajectory like that for a called strike 3 before in my entire life

Sportsnet also switched to the in dugout camera, just later than Fox. I think they shared many of the same cameras, just the SN production wanted to highlight the frenzy around the stadium with more in-crowd shots while Springer was making his way around the bases and back to the dugout.

Help, save, whatever.

I was watching the Fox feed since I don't get the SN feed where I am. Springer's onfield post-game interview was amazing. He is insanely humble and gave all the credit to the players who got up before him. Also said two times "We want to win for our city. Our country" He loves playing for the Jays and playing for Canada. Plus the fact he played these last 2 Games after taking a fastball to the kneecap. He's got some Hockey player in him for sure.

Every single start time is the same? I thought there might be a weekend day game in there somewhere but that's fine with me, all games are 5 pm Pacific time......nice.
And Bo will probably play? This is going to be good. First time back in 32 years.......crazy.

Well...what is it? Were you the guy that caught Springer's homerun ball?

Definitely was surprised they got this far after the bad start and I was one of the pessimistic fans ready to write them off and blow up the team. So many great contributions from the entire roster and Vladdy’s contract looks like a good deal.
Bring on the Dodgers! Ohtani is going to get booed sometime fierce. Hope we can get Bo back and maybe he can hit a winning HR and limp around the bases like Gibson and Freeman.
Watched the Seahawks on delay after and got to relive the win with the broadcast giving updates and showing Seattle fans watching on their phones looking sad. The Mariners are definitely the most cursed MLB franchise and I’d feel sorry for them if they lost to any other team.

Yeah, it is so easy to give up on a team or on certain players, and I am sure we were all starting to feel that regarding this Jays team.
This isn't directed at you, but that is why I am often saying fans are too impatient - you have to give players and teams a chance to find their stride and come together. In FOI, some fans are clambering to trade players after 6 games, it's nuts. Players aren't always playing at their peak, and teams have good years and bad years. It can be hard to be patient sometimes, but that is how you build winners - if you are constantly changing because it isn't working right away, you never get there. You have to give a cake enough time to rise.

I had a shot at the last tickets for game one, but held off. About $1100 for two tickets. Too expensive for my blood.
