Actually in an interesting twist this dbag has never even seen the movie and gave it a negative review for publicity to try and increase traffic to his ####ty site.
So he probably does deserve the heat he's getting.

EDIT: I'm just assuming this is the same guy.

While it's good to see that his false review was outed and he is no longer able to influence critic review scores nobody should be getting death threats over a movie review, real or false.

Maybe he just made up those death threats to get hits to his site?

AP gave it a 2/4 and a "rotten" review. Although as a caveat it offers: "This is the problem when you’re an exceptional, visionary filmmaker. When you give people something extraordinary, they expect it every time. Anything short of that feels like a letdown."
A little spoiler-y, not as much as the Hollywood Reporter one, so be forewarned http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...-epic-letdown/
A friend of mine called wanting to see this on Friday, so know I'm going to the IMAX at Chinook Friday afternoon. Hope it's OK.

Not to hammer on that AP reviewer too much, but she does rate Battleship and Think Like a Man higher than the Dark Knight Rises.

Not to hammer on her too much?
If she rated those films higher than TDKR then she's obviously a complete moron. No amount of hammering is sufficient.

Regardless of the "score" she gave it, if you read the review it's not negative. It brings up a real issue of this movie being able to meet expectations.

Woman reviewer, reviewing a comic book action movie. .
Was there not some romantic comedy she could have reviewed instead?

How can this movie not be awesome? The avengers can go to hell.
From rotten tomatoes.
This may be the darkest, the grimmest, the most depressing summer popcorn movie ever. It is not summery. It is not popcorny... This is a beast of a film... a beast that has us all in its red and rageful glare.

I don't see how that is relevant.
I've never driven a Ferarri but if someone told me their 92 Toyota was a better vehicle I wouldn't need to go out and test drive both to know that that person is an idiot.

Yeah, for all we know, TDKR could be worse than Batman & Robin.

That all depends on how Hathaway stacks up compared to Uma Thurman. Seriously, Batman and Robin is a horrific movie but she was absolutely amazing as Poison Ivy.
