Obviously there were some problems with the larger arcs, episode to episode, but I'm going to blame that on the short season and hope that it's something they can work out for next season, regardless of how many episodes they get.
it's only 13 again ... and they have shelved the series again, too. Probably no new episodes till winter.
Hate to jump on the hate bandwagon but I watched that entire season and laughed maybe twice. Not the same show, I don't feel compelled to make the time for it anymore.
I don't think it was awful like I initially predicted, but there was no where near as many good episodes. The cast still brought it and no matter what line they give Troy he always makes me laugh.
Now that basically all the good writing staff is gone though, the show really has no hope.
You really get the impression they are only doing these "wacky" episodes like the terrible puppet episode because that's what the new showrunners think Community is, which is not the case.
Yeah rumor is that the cast didn't like the scripts either. Thank god for the best cast on TV!
I could see this. This would increase the reasoning for Rash writing a later episode (that plus he's an Academy winning writer) - the cast was having a hard time agreeing with the writers.
So with Harmon coming back, do the other show showrunners leave? I hope so because they sucked. There wasn't even an acknowledgement of the City College plot line in the finale and everything else indicated that a City College faceoff would come at the end of the season.
Also, unlike season 3 especially there were no memorable episodes from season 4.

they were leaving anyway, that was announced a few weeks ago
