There are more than one of those kinds of girls out there. In fact, there are quite a few of us.

Even if it is sunny Sunday, will the field be too saturated for Optimist to let us play?

If we don't play tomorrow, I'm going to go adopt a kitten from the humane society and then flush it down the toilet... Do you hear me, God? The onus is on you! Don't piss me off!

There is a formula for that:
H+T+A+W+R=P
Where,
H Hours of sunshine
T Mean Temperature during those hours, see H above
A Angle of the Sun
W Wind speed
R Rate of evaporation, considering the porousity of the field, and relative saturation level of same. Another formula altogether. Let's call it 1.
P Play
If P is less than 110 we do not play.
May need to factor in general happiness of city groundskeeper at Optimist, and whether the umpires had a good supper.

Well there is the city rainout line.
268-2300, press 2-1-8 I think for Optimist.
However I do not know if it gets updated for Sunday evening games.
So, you just might have to show up to see.
The Optimist staff can cancel the games, the umps can cancel the games.
If someone does a drive by tomorrow afternnon and sees standing water on the infield, we will probably not play.
In my experience 9 and 10 are the worst diamonds for water...where do we play?

I seriously need to stop antagonizing the higher ups. First I pissed off Old Man Winter and he retaliated with more snow. Now I've dissed God and it looks like it's gonna rain for the foreseeable future.
Dear God and Old Man Winter,
I'm sorry about what I said. I promise never to flush kittens down the toilet or to start threads that diss you ever again.
Sincerely,
4x4
