I still don't like how they're essentially ignoring the Avengers outside of mentioning New York but I guess they don't have much of a choice.

I'm not sure you can fault the movie for failing to ignore the Avengers based off the first trailer (unless you know something I don't).

The first movie was actually quite good, especially when you consider Thor is a secondary character in the Marvel Universe. Just look at how awful Green Lantern was in comparison.

Is Thor even in the top ten most important characters in Marvel? If he is it's close to the bottom of that list.

I liked the fact it was a smaller scaled movie. It wasn't perfect but it surprised me. Liked it a heck of a lot more then then Captain America

What are the odds they kill off Portman in the movie? 80-20? I don't think she wants to do these anymore after they fired the director she wanted. Too bad really, although Portman never really seemed right for the role.

I could be way off though, but at some point they will start actually killing off characters in these movies.
