Are Spurs even the best team who could get relegated this year? Feels like West Ham are probably better than them. Also, let there be no doubt, whoever wins the title is the worst PL winner ever. Possibly by far. Obviously still beats being the best runner up ever.

I suppose that conversation and distinction is a tough one. Spurs are where they are, completely deservedly! If they get relegated, it's not as though they were hard done by at this point, and they've just finally had a lot of bad decisions that are coming home to roost all at once.

The unbelievable part though, is that they're the 9th richest club in the world. This isn't some poor club that just couldn't keep pace. This is a club that could afford to keep pace, and didn't because they both have no clear direction and that direction that do have is hampered because they cannot assess talent.

How long have you been watching football? The great Manchester United teams frequently won the Premier League with less than 80 points. They won it in 1997 with 75 points, then Arsenal in 1998 with 78 points, then Manchester United won it in 1999 with 79 points.

Arsenal are on pace for 85 points this season.

Spurs get that false hope for about five minutes and then Van de Ven gets sent off. Couldn't script better comedy.

They got the goal called off, take the lead and then everything went straight to hell. This is great!

Aaaand there is Palace's lead.

I take no joy in watching Spurs go down, but wow, what a complete collapse. They might not win another game this season.

The coaching hire was obviously terrible from the start. The guy was terrible at Juventus and everywhere before that, no idea why they thought it would work here.

They probably still get cooked anyway, but if that offside goes the other way they are probably at least level on men right now. Fans bailing, players checked out, might see double digits here.

actually impressive for an established top 6 club to collapse this quickly. Not that long ago that Pochettino took them to the CL final ...

They won the Europa League 9 months ago and are still playing Champions League football and directly qualified for the knockout stages.

But fired two managers in that time and downgraded each time they did.

We do need to root for them to win UCL though, a UCL team in the Championship would be peak.

The best part is the bored cameraman panning the crowd...

Sadly, too early for him to find the crying children in the crowd. Really is too bad Burnley couldn't get that win against Brentford, but this is shaping up to be an all-time relegation battle. Still holding out hopes for the Wolves miracle to send both Spurs and West Ham down.

Look on the bright side...both West Ham and Spurs should have no problem packing their brand new stadiums at Championship prices...

I never actually thought Spurs would get this bad and actually in the relegation battle.
This is unbelievable & they're in complete free fall

We might get 2 St Totteringham's Days in 2 months!
