Day started with Ohtani decision imminent and I think that's still the case, the rest of the day was the internet tail wagging the dog.

He doesn't have to be in Toronto to sign or anything like that's and the Jays themselves will be carefully crafting any sort of announcement (even thought social media got the Ohtanhi scooped when he first signed with the Angels, before the Angels could announce).

You do realize most of the baseball season it is sunny in Toronto as well as the fact they can control the climate, something they can't do at Dodgers Stadium right?
