For me it was Doughty winning Olympic gold that did it. He sniped a game winner at one point in the tournament.

The calls are just too obvious. The Oilers are lucky they haven't been called for more. They are playing really stupid hockey. Slashes, trips, interference, etc. Just dumb-dumb and needless plays.

McDavid caught cheating for an ENG last game when they tied it too.

They've been so trained into chasing scoring trophies that they don't know how to switch that off when team wins take precedence.
