Northland, I believe. By Shaganappi Trail. Definitely the food court.
I thought the episode was pretty good.

Flashback episodes almost never do it for me.

The entire food court as well as where the carousel was setup was the easy to spot locations. They didn’t even change most of the leftover places in there like A&W and subway

Especially when you know exactly what’s going to happen.

I pretty much know what's going to happen every week. And that was a really great Bella Ramsey episode. Nailed it, pretty much could not have done it better.

Anyone ID the bottle they had? I'm guessing Aberlour.

It didnt blow me away, but it was still a good episode.

The Apocalypse certainly does appear to make for strange bedfellows.

Some good acting but the episode was pretty lame and boring.

I enjoyed it, but yeah, this show has set the bar really, really high.

But it allows us to know a lot more about Ellie. I definitely saw it going to a much darker place, such as Ellie having to kill her best friend and newfound lover.

Or perhaps some sort of Romeo and Juliet scenario where Riley kills herself and when its Ellie's moment she realizes that she's not turning and then she maybe wonders if that particular zombie (I know they dont like that word, its not a clicker, what is the proper nomenclature here?) wasnt able to infect others until she learns more on her journey?

There are lots of little ways they could have really crushed Ellie's soul under their bootheels, but rather they just showed that she is essentially a standard mistrusting and bitter orphan.

But still, I found it overall still quite good in terms of character development. Especially since we, the non-game-playing audience, dont really know anything about Ellie and how she came to be who she is, but give us more of a glimpse into how this world works and some of the internal political conflicts.

One thing I would say is that they havent vilified FEDRA enough for me as an audience.

They talk about how FEDRA is evil, they talk about how they're fascist, but they havent shown that demonstrably. Thus far FEDRA seem like run-of-the-mill Prison Guard type bullies but thats about the extent of it.

So yeah, not their strongest offering, but as I stated, thats a super high bar at this point, but certainly not 'weak' in any respective sense.

But that mall doesn’t have a full second floor does it?

The rest of the mall looked a bit like Southcentre I think.
