Each playing style has an antidote. Fast teams can be stifled by the trap, aggressive teams stifled by discipline. Vegas is a team running on belief, energy and conviction. They have finally met a team with a similar belief in their own destiny as champions. The entire series certainly has not been one-sided, but the special jam that Vegas has been playing with for the last year no longer looks all that special when put up against the Caps.

Haha fair enough, I actually recognize the name but don't know the face I guess. I still stand by the pandering over anyone semi-recognizable being embarrassing, but I'll concede she's a bigger name than I gave her credit for

Impressive that the Caps are able to do this against VGK. It's not like Vegas was just scraping through on their way to the finals. The way they took apart the Jets made it look as though they had no problem with the tough, physical style of controlling play. The Caps have stepped things up with ridiculous determination.

The Caps take a couple of games each series to learn their opposition then they utterly shut em down. 4 rounds now of just incredible coaching adaptation.
I think I knew they were for real when they shut the TB pp right down and came back to win the series. They read it, recognized what they had to do and did it. And the effort they have is just sheer will to overpower their foes. Hell of a way to win if it happens.
