Penalties Drawn would make a great stat. You would have to add in a sub catagory of dives though. It could all her very subjective.

It's probably not available for IIHF but for the NHL, Extra Skater does a penalty +/- for minors taken/drawn.

The US Defense is one of the worst D I have ever seen outside of rec league hockey.

Kinda wonder if Canada or the US get away with that hit on Abdelkader. Glad it was a non call, but I've seen much tamer hits then that called for a penalty.

But as bad as the D is, Tim Thomas looks worse than Henrik Karlsson.

Nelson scores 6-5.

Gaudreau with an assist. Great pass to Nelson in front of the net

Gaudreau's putting the team on his back. Awesome shift.

6-5 Latvia over USA Final.

Think the fault falls on Laviolette on this one. Latvia is a primarily counter attack team.

Don't think he prepared his team well enough to limit turnovers and odd man rushes.

USA relies so heavily on setting up the one timers for Jones and Trouba. They should just give the puck to Gaudreau instead
