Seriously, what's up with the difference between worse and worst? I don't get it, I went through school and never saw any issues with it from anyone, even when we were really young. But for some reason it seems like half the posters on CP don't understand the difference.
You don't say "That was the worse movie ever" or "If this gets any worst". Seriously guys, just read your sentences out loud to yourselves when you use worst/worse.

The exit from NB Deerfoot towards Heritage/Glenmore WB.... When people slow down to 60km/h a kilometer in advance for no reason.

Yep, it's the worse exit in Calgary.

It RGMG that I can remember postal codes and phone numbers that I haven't used in twenty years, but can't remember where I put something important from a day or two ago.

I'm really getting tired of these moronic and hyperbolic article-titles from all the "hurray for everything" websites (Upworthy/Buzzfeed) that you see everywhere today.
Everything is always "This will totally change the way you think about dogs forever",
or "Here are photos of some elderly couple. The last photo will give you chills."
or "Here's some little girl playing an instrument. What she did next, you will never forget!"
Maybe I'm just dead inside, but there's always so much hyperbole and fake empathy. They all feel like they were custom-crafted for idiots to post on Facebook to get likes.

Click-bait, that's exactly what they are designed for, to get you to click.
But on the plus side the insanely funny Downworthy Browser Extension does a decent job of tweaking the headlines with one weird trick...
No but really, the Downworthy extension changes some of the most common click-bait headlines:
- "Literally" becomes "Figuratively"
- "Will Blow Your Mind" becomes "Might Perhaps Mildly Entertain You For a Moment"
- "You Won't Believe" becomes "In All Likelihood, You'll Believe"
Eventually some one will build an adblock like extension which kills them outright, but for now we can have some fun with them.

WRGMG is when businesses/buildings have a double-door entrance, yet one of them is locked. In the middle of business hours. Why unlock just one?

Worse is when they don't secure the lid when they hand it to you. You grab it, the lid pops off and soda is all over your vehicle and clothes

The McDonalds on 130 Ave SE - pretty much the only McDonalds that keeps screwing stuff up when I go there.

One of the busiest in Calgary, yet I swear they have the most incompetent staff.
Leads me to another gear grinder, why that 130th avenue is so busy but the infrastructure around it is absolutely terrible. That Boston Pizza is 2nd or 3rd busiest in Calgary, yet has the worst parking lot and access. The Earls is 2nd/3rd busiest in the whole company and has one of the smallest/worst parking lots, and they're building another restaurants in the same corner ffs.

What grinds my gears is every time the new Flames arena thread is bumped it's a letdown, usually just someone asking if there's an update, and you get excited for nothing.
What doesn't grind my gears is this latest bump. It's a video from discovery channel showing a new material that they're trying out that would transform future stadiums to hold small to large scale events, with this cool material that would move all over the stadium and make any event size feel intimate.
The cool part, the video rendering blatantly has the Flames logo at centre ice. Did they just randomly decide to use our logo while our team is in the process of announcing a new arena? Possibly, but I'd imagine there's a real link there.
Check out the thread if you haven't yet. I'm getting excited!

I live in that area and used to agree with you; until I went to the one on 36 street and ~12 ave NE. They have the double lane for the drive through, but it still took us almost 15 minutes to get through. The lady in front of me seemed to be taking a while, and then I saw a bunch of happy meals go through; so I figured she must have had some special requests for the kids.
Then my turn, I ordered a Big Mac meal and a McDouble. We waited almost 5 minutes for our order from the time I pulled up to the 2nd window. 2 minutes of that was because they poured me a large iced tea instead of medium, and apparently their automated drink machine can't make an extra drink out of sequence.

The solution to this problem is don't eat at terrible restaurants.
