Yeah, not sure that elbow was down - oh well, 4th and inches instead of 1st down. Next play, TD!

didnt watch much of the game and dont usually catch Rams games, but it doesnt look like Bradford has really developed since his rookie year, perhaps even regressed? as i dont see him a lot, i might be wrong but thats the way it looks

He hasn't taken the next step people expected. But in his defense the only decent receiver he has had for years has been Danny Amendola who was perennially injured. And his offensive line last night was terrible.

It has been their defense that has kept them in games for the past few years, and with them being gashed by the run a couple weeks in a row it looks like that will need to be fixed quickly.

This is a pretty interesting article written by Austen Lane. Worth the read.

I was impressed with how many good players the Browns do have in the Vikes game. Add a good QB, and I think they are a playoff team in 2-3 years. I think they are finally going in the right direction, if ownership will give management time to follow through. Last Sunday was the first time they looked like a pro football team in a long time.

Get to know these players:

Josh Gordon, Davone Bess and Greg Little: A-

Jordan Cameron: A

Phil Taylor, Ahtyba Rubin, Billy Winn, John Hughes and Desmond Bryant: B-

Paul Kruger, Jabaal Sheard and Barkevious Mingo: B

Craig Robertson and D’Qwell Jackson: B-

Buster Skrine, Chris Owens and Joe Haden: A

Tashaun Gipson and T.J. Ward: B-

Billy Cundiff, Spencer Lanning, Travis Benjamin, Bobby Rainey and coverage units: A+

If the Rams had to do it over, do you think they take Suh over Bradford in the draft?

I think the O-line is the problem. They can't run block (18 yards on 19 carries), they can't pass block (5 sacks and a number of throws were hurried). It makes it tough for anyone at QB. They needed to get Orlando Pace back on the field, it couldn't hurt.

GUYS, MATT CASSEL IS STARTING FOR THE VIKINGS!

I figured if I yelled, people might actually care/think it will make a difference.

I sure hope it is the Matt Cassel of the Tom Brady injury era and not the big contract signing Matt Cassel

Luckily my daughter is too young to understand that the Vikes lost to the Browns last week

Ponder has a rib fracture. I don't think this is a change beyond that injury.

I think the Vikings brass still believes in Ponder.

Well as long as he doesn't stare down receivers and can actually be a game manager, like Alex Smith, the Vikings should be fine.

It blows my mind that teams put 7, 8 & 9 man fronts up against the Vikings and Ponder STILL can't take advantage of that. A lot of it is the puzzling play calling by Bill Musgrave but there is zero execution from the QB.

Maybe Cassel changes that, maybe he doesn't.

Unless it's Charlie Weiss scheming things up, I don't know if Cassel will have the confidence to help the Vikings. He's a pretty inaccurate thrower for a guy with a weak arm.
