I'm a fan of Rage as the choice. FOB is a terrible band in my opinion but the song does kinda work as a goal song. The idea of Fall out Boy as a Flames song kinda kills me inside a little, you know the same way the Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisand song did.
Failing the RATM song, I think something more "anthem-like" that could be chanted by the crowd would be a good choice.
An example would be "Righteous Smoke" by Monster Truck. Perhaps some editing would be good putting the lyrics before the chant.

I just realized I don't give two craps what goal song they pick, it doesn't matter, when the Flames score I don't notice it anyways. I didn't really notice tonight what it was, came into this thread to find out.

I am in 100% agreement. We went to the game wondering what the goal song is. After the 4 goals both of us still didn't even notice. Much more interested in the goal itself and the game on the ice.

I was thinking for games that we win, if we move away from ring of fire that maybe we could use this.
Obviously cut out the parts with the guns in it. I think that it would have some swagger to it.

Just saw that the New Jersey Devils are also considering "Righteous Smoke" as their goal song as well. We already have a jersey that looks like them now, we might want to put a stop to having the same goal song. The voting is public, so perhaps a little jihad is in order?

I figured since this was more of a suggestion I would just resurrect this old thread.
I don't mind Righteous Smoke and out of the choices that were given last year that was the best one, IMO. Being a fan of WWE I recently heard a new theme song that was briefly being used for an up and comer and upon hearing it, I couldn't help but imagine it being a great hockey goal song, and more specifically one for The Flames. Needless to say, this theme is no longer being used by the guy to avoid copyright costs. I understand Monster Truck is probably here to stay for the foreseeable future, but I think the fact Ottawa already had it took away a lot of the appeal it had. Anyways, here's the song.
