I was an 80's baby so she was past my time (grew up as well watching Threes Company with my parents and Step-by-Step with my own time), but she was always someone who seemed to be eternally 50. I'm sure a lot on here had crushes during their teenage years.

Watched it every day after school for years! CMT is replaying it in the evenings, I can still within a few seconds recall the plot and the zany misunderstanding(s) driving it. I wish my memory for useful things was half as good

So many of the Night Court cast are gone now. I think just John Larroquette and Marsha Warfield are still alive from the main cast -- and Warfield joined the show after the first two actresses cast as the bailiff died during the show's run.
