Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Felt gross to cheer them on but we aren't done yet. Go beat the Oilers. Upgrade our draft pick.

Crappy Oilers get so lucky again. Gets the worst team in the playoffs to start and the 2nd worst playoff team in the 2nd round.

Wow...the 5 man unit selling out to block that shot on the open net was impressive. I think Myers took it and is quite hurt now.

Yes. Because middle six forwards have never played the hero in a low scoring play off series before.
I got home from work to watch Suter score that goal. It felt nice.

Wow thought Nashville was going to score. Lindholm saved from being the goat.
Go Canucks I guess.

Deserved. Nashville never looked like they wanted to try to score until the end. Way too offensively passive.

Get your Canucks hats on... They won't get past the third round anyway.

Sure Nuckleheads, celebrate that win... That was a sad game to close out the series.
Next round should be fun.

That was the softest call given the entire nature of the game to that point.

The Preds player was off balance. I know it’s the no hit league but that’s weak for last minute in the playoffs.

Nucks hang on for the series win. Now please beat the Grease! Silovs played really well. I’d actually be confident with either guy for round 2. But still, I think Demko probably gives them the best shot of taking out the losers from Dumpsterville.

Not going to call it a bad call. It may have been a soft call, but it wasn't bad. It was the definition of a cross-check. The timing is what makes it a soft call. That and you can probably find five of six instances of that exact play happening along the wall throughout the game.
It's one thing if it took away a scoring chance or took away a chance to make a play but it was a bouncing puck along the wall. Still, it was a penalty.

Canucks won? Now I have to cheer for them against the Oilers. They better beat the crap out of the Oilers.

Gawd, I love a goalie story. It'd be fun to see Silovs play on if Demko remains hurt.

It's unreal how the Canucks went from that slimeball team last time they were good, to a likeable team.
Happy that they won though. The Oilers own the Preds, this is our best chance.
