I had a feeling the Oilers would get the new coach bump, especially with all these games against crappy teams. They'll come back down to earth. They always do. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose every game on their eastern road swing, as these will be much tougher opponents.

And they didn't even look good last night. Seattle let them hang around and make it 3-2, and then as usual the officials made their mark making sure they atleast got a point by missing an obvious penalty on Pissy.

Regarding the game, Edmonton is very fortunate. That diving hailmary defensive stick play that nurse made when the net was empty probably doesn't happen 99 out of 100 tries. They were very fortunate to get to OT that game. Still a lot of warts that are being masked by very lucky plays and non calls.
