A premier that doesn't promise to interfere with the justice system in an effort to get charges dropped
A deputy premier (or justice minister) that doesn't call the police chief when they get a speeding ticket

Found on Reddit, but a list of all the terrible things the UCP has done since 2019. With sources.
I imagine you'll do all sorts of mental gymnastics to ignore all this but there's still value in considering these things.

What's the point? You'd just reply with something fact filled and constructive like you have already...

When faced with evidence that is directly contrary to her ideology and the ideology of the federal NDP which controls her she will change her mind and follow the policy of experts. This was demonstrated by the Royalty Review.
Also similar level of spending to the UCP. If governments are going to waste my money I’d rather it be wasted by socialists than capitalists. So since voting UCP doesn’t get be any more spending restraint than UCP I might as well vote NDP.
Better representative for province against unions. Notley was able to extract 0s from the unions during her term. Now that won’t be replicated next term but their will be less labour strife and likely lower raises because thier is trust or at least not mutual hate between the negotiating parties.
And one just for me Hopefully cancel the the provincial contribution to the Arena deal like any fiscally responsible government would.

Fake news? The ucp has this on their platform:
"Public Health Care Guarantee - no Albertan will ever have to pay for a doctor out of pocket."
Does the ndp have a platform?

Guys, guys. It doesn't matter how much crappy stuff the UCP has done, and how much worse it will be with a full mandate Smith.
You are completely forgetting that a vote for Notley is a vote for Singh. Singh appreciates your vote. How come no one has said this yet!

I live in Calgary-Hays. I've been for long walks in my neighbourhood the past few days and I've seen close to zero indication there is even an election going on. 2 NDP signs, 0 UCP signs, 0 signs for anyone else. Are we just considered too far gone? I was hoping to see signs, both literal and figurative, that the NDP was making inroads in my area.

It is pretty crazy that on CP there isn't a single reasonable UCP supporter that has spoken up to give even one kind of non-ridiculous reason to vote for UCP over NDP. It shows the state of the party and its supporters that it has finally turned into what it was accused of being for so long and that is a party based solely on voting for team colors over anything else.
I am sure there are many here that are otherwise considered rational posters that are keeping quiet because they can see how easy it is to rip apart any of the flimsy reasons they came up with but you would think they would at least have something to hold on that couldn't be ripped apart easily and that clearly isn't the case.

Back when the Ernst and Young report came out, they (UCP and Shandro in particular) made a big fuss about making sure that ‘not clinically necessary’ and ‘delisted’ weren’t the same thing. Pretty much exposing their playbook early on.
Like how increasing user fees isn’t increasing taxes, and taking a larger share of ticket revenue from police from the cities isn’t the same as cutting police budgets.

Do you believe that Danielle Smith wouldn't tell a lie to get elected? She's got a pretty #### record so far, but if you want to prove yourself gullible...

Bingo to this. Everyone can still technically see a public provider, just don’t ask how long it will take. That is what DS Smith does. This is all just more imprecise language, which she herself admits to using.

Of course you won’t have to directly pay out of pocket. They’ll take credit card.
