Rogers call center has a pre-recorded message saying they are sold out of the iPhone as at 6:00 am. I'm waiting on hold anyway to see if I can order one - I'm hoping the message is BS. As I've been on hold for ten minutes already, I think everyone else is doing the same thing lol.

They just became available on the TELUS website. Doesn't look like they have any data plans to compete with Rogers and Bell yet though.

Just checked out that site. $137 for a 16GB 3GS? What the hell is that? I've had lowball offers on Kijijijijijijijiijii that were higher than that.
They just resell it for $300. I'm listing mine for $350, will settle for $300. I don't care if it ever sells or not.

They are lowballs for popular items. You can watch their trending graph, 3GS was a good deal before the iphone4 came out in the US.
Usually the iphone is better deal than that because they resell the phones in africa.

But if you look at most products it shows that the demand is less then what it was say a month ago. Seems like it could be there just for making you think your object is becoming worthless so you sell.

Back on subject the only thing that is holding me back is email on the iphone. All I need from email is to have my hotmail and yahoo sent to my phone as well as when I am away from work I have my outlook email fwd to my blackberry but I will need to change that to iphone. Will I notice any problems with email functions? At most all I do is reply to them and the odd time open attachments.

You shouldnt notice any problems. It's a pretty dead-easy process. You may need help setting up your outlook email, but it will still work fine.
Edit: so nobody has one of these yet? Post dammit!

I'm not 100% sure what you're talking about, but you can setup your e-mail accounts on the iPhone, so you'll receive notification of new messages, and can pretty much do all the various features of the e-mail within that.
