I went out for a late lunch and got to see a bit of the SF game. Pretty close at Half time. 7-0 on a St.Louis fubar of a punt (the guy covering the gunner accidentally kicked the ball in to the end zone where SF recovered for a TD).

But now it is 35-0. That Special teams TD, 2 passing TDs, 2 Defensive TDs.

Crazy stuff.

Orton's noodle arm just cost the Donkeys a TD.

LOL, so this week in the CP Fantasy League, my options at QB were Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo. Thank god for Ronnie Brown.

Well at least Romo didn't get the Cowboys fans hopes up, only to be let down in December this year. He's been awful since the second game of the season.

The Saints D was awesome again against a tough Jets team, Sanchez was picked three times and fumbled in the endzone. The Jets defence is for real, would have been a complete blowout but for two fourth and one stops by the Jets D.

I like Darren Sharper.

Go Broncos....

It would have been better for the Cowboys and Owens for him to stay.

I regret that decision by the management.

Disagree. Owens has been a non-factor for almost a year now.

Is there a more overrated cornerback in this league than Terrence Newman?

Yeah, a non-factor with over 1000 yards and 10 TDs last season...

Of course not, this game is all Tony Romo's fault. When Brandon Marshall has his head on straight he can make plays though. If Denver's defence can hole here in the last two minutes, than I'll be really impressed. Most teams defences aren't holding in these situtations. Teams who can, are probably going to be the ones winning games.

This is has a lot more to do with Romo playing awful than Denver's defense playing great Troy.

Unless the plan was to leave guys wide open all day and hope that Romo would miss them on easy passes.

Newman should have had that INT and then he makes it worse by lazily running after Marshall contributing to the crap tackling.

I know stats don't tell the entire story always but I thought it would be interesting to check them out to date:

Brees: 4 GP: 4 W, 0L, 9 TD's for 1031 yards, 87/129 (67.4% completions), QB rating approx 108, 2 of 4 games have been for 300+ yards

Manning: 4GP: 4W, 0L, 9 TD's for 1336 yards, 97/137 (70.8% completions), QB rating approx 117, 4 straight 300+ yard games

Thats another defence that should start getting respect here. Creating lots of turn overs, and today they more or less won the game by beating up on the Jets offence. Stupid Schottenheimers making me look like a fool again.
