Amen - especially in the red zone. AJ Barner should be an absolute weapon down there as should Kupp, and if you go to those guys a couple of times, the run game Kubiak is so dead set on using in goal to go will have a lot more success.
The reality is that we're not halfway into the season and it's a new offensive scheme from a new OC with an new QB, growing pains are not totally unexpected and like I say, they did just score 27 on a good defense despite 4 turnovers. They just also basically scored 12 of the 19 points Houston got.

Nothing looked like the Chiefs vs Raiders game this week.
3 x 1st downs (less than Chiefs had TD's)
30 total plays on offense
95 total yards offense
The Raiders were historically bad.

I haven't seen this posted yet but Doug Martin passed away at age 36. Former Bucs and Raiders running back who had a couple of probowl seasons and was nicknamed "The Muscle Hamster."
Unfortunately like many who play in the NFL, seems like he struggled badly with mental health issues. He was in Police Custody at the time of his death after being detained in for a break in.

It's not that I hate them, and more I hate how the Flames and Raiders never change. Flames have been on the hamster wheel of mediocrity for decades and the Raiders straight up terrible for the most part since 2022. Every year I look forward to one of them finally turning the corner but it never happens. Every new season feels like groundhogs day.

Sad story and alarming is that the issues hit him so early in his 30's.

Hopefully his family can get his brain analyzed for potential evidence of CTE. Just awful stuff.

Broncos offense must get better, but that team is two last second field goals away from being 7-0.

That kid Jets fan is why I will continue to advocate for sports team neutrality. Conscripting yourself to misery for an entertainment product is insane, especially when most teams would sell their most die hard fans out for a few more dollars. If your team sucks, is boring, or whatever, it's totally ok to cheer for someone else.

My 2 teams I care about the most in all of sportball (Flames and Saints) are both 1-6. It's gonna be a long (few) year(s)...

Never!!! That said I do have other teams I will root for if they aren't in opposition of my teams, but it is not the same.
The payoff at the end when the team you have followed since you were 9 wins a championship cannot be matched for the neutral fan in any scenario.

I have to admit it's tough when you are in your 50's and the last time your teams won anything was in your teenage years and there is absolutely nothing imminent on the horizon still after all those decades. Still I can't imagine changing my allegiances.

Be true to your school.
But it’s ok to have some back-up teams to follow.

As long as said back-up team is not The Oilers. That would be unacceptable in any manner.

I don't think you really need to be a die hard fan of a team in every league, it becomes too much almost.
It's also enjoyable just to have a sport you can watch more as a natural without so much emotional attachment.
That's the NFL for me personally. More just end up having players you like and then teams you hate, but no team where you're really a die hard fan like the Flames are for me.

Anytime you got Wentz in the game the woof potential is pretty high.

I always thought Wentz was an odd choice to bring in as backup. Darnold and Danny Dimes at least had the possibility of untapped upside but Wentz has been washed for a while. I never understood the mentality of bringing in a washed vet at the backup QB as he's a guy holding a clipboard with no upside and the counter argument is that he can come in and immediately play because of their experience but the reality is that for the most part, they can't. Maybe the O'Connell QB whisperer stuff went to his head as neither of his QB's have looked good this season.
