I was thinking about how this must look to Canuck fans and how weird it would seem. Canuck fans love their team as much as Flames fans love theirs, but they don't really have a team that they loathe just as much as they love theirs. An Oilers loss feels almost as good as a Flames win to me. It would be nice if it didn't have to be the Canucks this time, but so be it.

That's exactly it. Born and raised flames fan, always hated the oilers since the gretzky/mcsorley/Anderson days. No matter what the line-up. Canucks- hated the Bure-era canucks. Then, relatively speaking, didn't mind the Anson Carter/Naslund era canucks. I hated the Kesler/Burrows/Lapierre/Bieksa canucks more than anything, but the oilers were in the decade of darkness so that canucks team was public enemy #1 at the time. Then, oilers got Mclotteryball, draisatl, yakupov and all the scum from the canucks retired or went to the ducks. This iteration of the canucks= most likable in a while. Oilers= always unlikable.

This series is an easy sweep if Demko was healthy. Bold strategy by the Oilers to stop shooting on Silvos when he was struggling.
The Zadorov goal was funny with 3 Oilers standing around covering no one while screening Skinner.

This series really brings to light how I loathe these teams. I hate the Canucks and I hate the Oilers. However, when they play in the playoffs its not even close who I would rather win.
