I love this team!
2 sac fly, a sac bunt, and a clutch single. All in one game. Amazing.

Bittersweet in Toronto at that time.
Raptors blew their lead at the same time as the Jays made their comeback
This Jays team is a lot of fun though.

I would trade a Raptors win in a play in tourny game for a Jays comeback win on game 12 of the regular season season any day of the week.

Aside from Berrios and the one Kikuchi start - this team's been on fire

Yup, but one of these teams has a chance to do damage, the other really doesnt.

Chris Bassitt also has to figure out pitch calling in the new rules world too. He seemed better after his first epically horrible start, but he still looks uncomfortable out there adapting to the new rules.

What's going on with MLB Mario? Used to be so reliable, now doesn't seem to work at all.

I feel outside of Gausman, all our pitchers have looked iffy at times. I also think that it is something that will sort it self out and isn't something to worry about. But it's been more than just those two in my mind.
The line up is straight amazing though. Even Belt (who some people were being overly harsh towards) is starting to look better as he settles in.

It is a really good sign that Gausman has been solid. I remember going into the season there were questions about how his delivery might be affected by some of the rule changes/pitch clock (can't remember what).

It has to do with the rocking back and forth he did while getting set. New rules meant that was a balk so he has to come to a "full stop" now.

What was the point of the rocking back and fourth? I never understood the pitchers who did funky stuff (Romano crouch included). Totally unnecessary and an energy waster. Anyway, I do so far like the batters approach I’m seeing. Guys I thought would be mediocre are doing great. The running mistakes are just small things they’re learning lessons on so I’m not concerned. I’m hoping they do more stealing in the future though.

Because pitching is about disrupting timing.
