Former NCAA player, worked for MLS in the late 90's early 2000's. Former CEO of a club in Ghana. Significant marketing experience in various sports including the Women's World Cup in 1999.
Considering CSB / CPL is trying to emulate what MLS / SUM is doing, getting someone who had considerable experience in the MLS / SUM structure makes sense. Has more experience in the game than Clanachan had, that's for sure.

I really like that he has global experience (States and Africa). He seemed a little nervous on stage but that doesn't matter if he does a good job
Lots of things seem to have been put on hold until a new commissioner was in place so now the league can move forward. I think they overhyped the announcement but it is an important piece for the league

It would be swell if they allowed for re-entry when there are weather issues… My car would be a lot more comfortable to wait this out in.

Fubo for this is quite annoying. I can’t find the game at all and instead I could watch Ottawa and Forge, but who wants to see that.

Cantave is looking like a good pickup for me. He seems to be the only player who wants to run at others and take them on. Doesn't always pay off but at least he's trying things.

Yeah I was really impressed by Cantave. You can definitely see the talent there. Really liking this pickup.
Also, the pitch yesterday - looked like a video game, it was absolutely immaculate. As someone who's played lots of soccer in my past, I just wanted to run onto that field and kick the ball around! Would have been amazing to play a game on quality grass like that.

I know it's FCE, but did anyone else see Tobias Warchewski's goal? Nutty.
That makes two great goals for him this year. He had that spectacular bicycle kick earlier in the season.
This is a dude I really want us to get if he was available. Big, strong, and can score goals. He's currently being loaned to FCE from York, but York also has an optional extension on him for another year. I can't see York not taking him back, but if he's on the market next year Tommy should be on this guy.

I completely agree, Warchewski is the type of player that would complete Cavalry. He's pretty unorthodox in his movement and nothing looks natural but he just bangs goals in. Imagine him getting on the end of Escalante's crosses? A guy can dream

Speaking of FC Edmonton, I've heard rumblings their ownership situation is sorted out. Hope that's actually the case and something is announced soon.
Can't wait to do the bus ride up on the 17th and watch Cavalry get another 3 points...
