I had a feeling before this game that I should go in without care or expectation. just a bad feeling in the old gut.
problem is dealing with the humiliation of fans who'll peg us as underserving to be at this point. we are absolutely deserving, of course. tonight doesnt showcase what this team has been at all but people will still make ignorant comments. might have to break from any hockey related media until sunday.

At the end of the day, this is a pretty awesome learning experience for Monahan, JH, Bennett, etc.
Seriously.
You're not playing the Oilers or Canucks anymore. You're playing a good team on their home ice in the playoffs. And you're getting spanked and you realize what it takes to be an elite team. Even if they get spanked this entire series they're going to use this as motivation for years.
