The Flames have a very strong cone of silence around them this year. Actually quite impressed about it all. So I would not be surprised if the travelling media circus for the Flames are keeping it tight until the Flames make the announcement. This Iginla drama deserves that at least.

I tend to agree. But the only reason I kind of believe Grant is because of how long he's been around.

But like MMF, watching and listening to Pollack is hilarious. The Fan 960 guys, like Pat, seem to be more connected to the inside of the Flames.

If Iggy is traded, I really can't see him just going direct to join his new team.

I think there's a press conference first. You don't trade a player like Iggy, without facing the media.

And I can't see Iggy flying to Boston to meet with the Bruins for anything. If they wanted to talk to him or see if he's interested in an extension, the Bruins would fly to him, not the other way around.

I very highly doubt the flames trade iginla while hes on the road. He'll be traded when the team is home so he can pack say goodbye to his kids and wife This isn't somebody you pull out during the warmup (that would be pretty bush IMHO)
