gas is cheaper in the states.

There is a Play it Again Sports that moved from Crowfoot to Edgemont by the Superstore. We just picked up a pair of the adjustable ones for $15 for our 3 year old.

True, but my point still stands. Its probably a 2-3 day trip to Houston by car yea? So you also have to take into account hotels and food and such. Not sure what the company would pay for on the trip but I assume he would want the whole trip paid for, just like it would be if he were flying. I would think the costs would be pretty close to the same. But again, if the company gets some sort of deal on flights it may be considerably cheaper.
Would they rent you a car while your there maybe? Would probably be stupid expensive but may be worth checking out.

If they don't want to pay for you to drive, they should at least be willing to give you the cost of an airline ticket for you to put towards your driving expenses. Either way, though, drive. You'll want a car to get around Houston, and you'll need a car to make weekend trips to New Orleans.

Paying for an oil change today and I see a tip option on the pay pad.
When did this start? Because it's new to me.

Maybe, but either way they have to learn something completely new, you might as well go right for the real thing. Skating with bob skates and skating with regular skates are two different things.

Go to the playitagain sports and ask if any skates fit that foot, used or not. If they are not a good relatively tight fit, don't waste your time or money.
Maybe the bob skates work, but we just got good ole skate skates.
We got a scarf and wrapped it under the kids arms across their chest so you could catch them when they fall for the first bit without bending over. Worked great.

this is good advice, try to remember back to when you learnt to skate, and how important correct fitting skates were.....

A minor cannot legally own an investment but an account can be set up in trust for the child. ITF accounts are set up incorrectly all the time. The person contributing the money should not (actually, must not) be the same as the person managing the investments. Uncle can be the contributor and Auntie can be the trustee. IT money should be transferred to the minor at age 18, otherwise you can run into trouble with the CRA.
These rules differ from RESP money, where the funds do not belong to the child and do not have to be turned over at 18 or any time.

Not bob skates, those things suck. I was nearly ready to toss those in the garbage, but Play it Again gave us a credit for them so...
I was talking about the Bauer Lil Champs skates.

does anyone else here end up deleting half the stuff they try to post on CP? so many times (especially in an argument thread) i'll have a post all ready to go, but before i click on Post i'll read through it again and tell myself "Meh, it's not worth it", and hit the back button. i find myself doing this more often the older i get

I actually do this a lot as well. It's either not worth it or upon further review my post is ######ed and I don't want the flack that would come along with posting it.

There are some posts from others I'd love to be able to delete. There is an entire thread I wish I could delete.

Yep, I have been on here 4 years longer and you have nearly 3 times as many posts so you clearly don't do it enough
It seems as though anyone with a join date later than 2010 are just a bunch of post whores though
