Because he's a steady stay-at-home guy that doesn't make the highlights for the wrong reasons.
I think it was Loubardias who said during tonights game that Wotherspoon will be a steady NHL defenceman for many years. Hope he's right!

Let's hope Wotherspoon goes on to be a star NHL defenceman and Canadian Olympic gold medalist where other Wotherspoons have failed.

I'm not forgetting about him, he just isn't playing quite the role Sven and Brossoit are.
And he'll be back next season with perhaps an even better chance to make it to the Memorial Cup with Seth Jones and the only significant loss being Baertschi.

What about Rattie? Could he possibly make the Blues next season?
Either way, this Winterhawks team lost Johansen and Niederreiter last season and they only had 1 less point in the standings during the regular season, and are doing as good (if not better) in the playoffs. I can't tell if this is a team that is just oevrloaded with talent and good drafting, or if they are just a well coached team.

From many of the thoughts I've read, there's zero chance Rattie makes the NHL next season, especially with the Blues glut of quality forwards.
I personally think Rattie will be a trading chip for the Blues to pick up a quality forward some time soon. I don't think Rattie fits anywhere on the Blues roster in the near future.

Hopefully Portland can get some offence from somewhere other than the 1st line tonight. TheOil Kings 2-4 lines have outplayed Portlands by a wide margin so far in this series.

Damn, I thought it was an 8:00 start. Guess I missed the first. How was it?
Looks like another Brossoit show, facing 15 shots in the first and it's tied 1-1.

I'm kinda impressed with that Gabriel kid for Portland. Has good finish and is usually involved in scoring chances. Has he been drafted?
Just checked, signed an ELC with Columbus in 2010.
He could make the jump to the NHL next year, especially on that junk team.
