Taking a while to get to 5000

Much rather see more from Solovyov, Kuznetsov etc.

I came here to say this. The NHL owes the Tkachuk brothers a huge thank you. They single handedly turned a contrived attempt to get attention tournament into a must watch event. Without the fights in the first Canada/US game the tournament would have been nowhere near as successful as it was.

It’s going to be a long time before this team is as good as it was when Tkachuk was a Flame.

Guys, with Tkachuk, look at how dumb he was in the final. He's a cow. He didn't play because he was injured, and instead of having another player come in he took up a spot. What an idiot.

That's a coaches decision.

If Bahl was out for longer it would make sense to grt Valimaki. Would rather just roll with Solovyov.

Next 7 games, 1 at home then 6 on the road with one being a back to back. Sharks, Caps, lightning, panthers, hurricanes (back to back), flyers, stars.
3-3-1 pct goes to 0.540
2-4-1 pct goes to 0.524
1-5-1 pct goes to 0.508 (likely bottom 10 depending on how MTL, Utah and NYI plav over next 7 games)
I think they go 0.500 over this stretch, it’s looking more and more like we are middling so might as well make hockey trades because this team is better than we were thinking it would be.

Is that not how things went when Tkachuk was a Flame? Cause a bunch of drama -> "haha that was great. glad he's on our team!" -> He's immediately injured (or suspended or sulking or whatever) -> miss the important games

Sounds like you have a completely rational and logical dislike of Matthew Tkachuk....

That is incredibly generous to think they go .500 over this stretch, even with the Sharks game in the mix to pad the stats.
- I would expect them to go 2-5-0 with wins against the Sharks and Flyers.
- I hope they can steal one for 3-4-0, maybe the 'Canes keep struggling but that is our back half game of the back-to-back so the odds are against that.

Was in the cup final two years ago and won the cup last year. What a suspended sulky... winner.

What was his injury in the 4 nations? Assume it has to do with a fight?

He has an acute case of "not being Canadian"
