If I was an Oiler fan (barf) I would be pissed off at the constant lying coming from the CEO of the corporation. Why continue to talk about playoffs? Be honest with yourself and your base. Admit this season didn't go how they planned (lol) and say you are taking measurable steps to improving for next season.
As a Flames fan, it's like watching Trump lie to his base and they just lap it up as fact. And it's hilarious.

For a fwd he plays a lot of minutes. But most top defencemen play the same and don't get worn out. Plus they don't glide half the time.

Johnny's goal last night pulled him into a tie for third in all-time points for players from the 2011 draft with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Johnny has played 144 fewer games.
(Kucherov and Landeskog are 1-2.)

If McDavid has a similar flu as I had Feb 1 it may take him upwards of 1 week to recover.
I was sicker than I have ever been and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone even an Oiler.

Ya, I didn't consider Stone in our top 7 (or Prout for that matter) as I have Valimaki in that slot even though he is playing in the A right now.
So yeah, you are right... our 8th guy on the depth chart maybe for their top guy.
Would Klefbom even make our top 6, or is he a healthy scratch on this team?

Since when are hurt feelings something that would get you put on IR? They get no cap relief, but if they try to put him on LTIR down the road, then I hope the NHL doctors have a hard look at it.

i'd be stunned if the Oilers got anything more than a 4th for Chiasson...
the guy was a PTO, not one team wanted him for nothing in the off season. Guy can't skate, had an unsustainable shooting % and now has no goals in the past 16-17 games?
his biggest skill was putting his stick on the ice for McDavid to target
