This at bat might make or break the game

So Schneider is ok with varland facing guys a million times but that’s why he put little in the other night. The season hangs on this at bat.

I don't think the manager had a choice. Had to yank him before he did some major, major damage. Just didn't have it tonight

Tough one for Bieber, he had a strike call missed before the double, and then walks the 9 hitter. If Varland can get out of this then it’s still a half decent outing for him even though it’s short

I really don't get why they don't seem to want to use Bassit or Lauer.

Seems like a spot where a fresh arm that could go longer would be helpful

Bieber about as unlucky as you can get tonight. But cant let him face Julio again. That dude has a horseshoe so far up his ass.

Varland makes me nervous because it feels like he relies a lot on a hard flat fastball.. the worst kind of pitch against a team of bad hitters who basically only hit dingers

But yeah bieber needed the hook. Wouldn't have minded a 2nd starter like bassit

All year this team has relied on its offense. Will have to do it again.

Bassitt is such a wildcard for me. He’s very much the same pitcher Bieber is.

Cmon bats. Gotta get to Kirby. The Mariners pen is Nails and he have Woo in the wings.

Can't let those ######y, lucky, and annoying, ####s win.

Time to do some damage against Kirby now.. he's looked pretty average othet than the 3rd and he's already on 50 pitches, think the jays need to be a bit patient here and he'll be on the ropes if they make him throw 20 pitches in this inning

I’m not feeling it. We look like game 1 & 2 Jays.

Kirby really is a freak. Dude has had so many 2-0 counts but will get back in to it without issue.
