I don't interpret the question that way, but I can see how you might.
I don't think it's unreasonable to have laws around gun ownership eligibility, gun use, storage requirements, etc. I think owners should be licenced, there should be an ownership registry, there should be mandatory training, and mental health and criminal background checks.
Within the confines of such a system, I don't believe any law-abiding Albertan (/Canadian) shouldn't be able to own a firearm. As it sits I don't have a lot of problems with the system we already have, except the federal government's recent changes which I think are... capricious and dumb.

I've kind of grown to think the right-left divide on the fiscal end is a complete misnomer, after basically watch those who proport to be fiscal conservatives piss away all credibility any time they needed to prop up their donners a bit, had the opportunity that pushed an ideological agenda over responsible behavior, or really needed to spend some money to win an election.
What I concluded is that in our current politics, there are those who are willing to be cheap as long as it doesn't effect them or their relations, and those who want to spend with empathy but lack the coldness that is sometimes required in a limit resource world. I wouldn't call either approach conservative, which to me means a focus on maintaining or improving our levels of financial prosperity over time. You aren't a fiscal conservative just because you cut taxes, create revenue holes and steer money you no longer have towards your friends.

First time I’ve ever put up a sign (NDP) but only after I retrieved it from my neighbours who put it in their recycling after the volunteers incorrectly put it on their lawn without their permission.
A decent number of NDP signs on my street overall which was nice to see.

My wife had a hospital ride in New Orleans a month or so ago. Probably a 15-20 minute ride. $2600 USD.
Same in Canada - ~$500
Privatization? No thank you.

Well, I had the only sign on the block yesterday. Today, the UCP came through and decorated many lawns in blue. I'm all by myself in a sea of blue.

yeah, there was a ton of talk about the NDPs sign game, but the UPC is winning the lawn primary in my hood 30-11 right now.

My street is pretty boring. Only two NDP lawn signs and no other parties. I'm pretty surprised that the NDP could only convince two houses on my block as that seems really low for what should be a pretty strong area for them.

That is freaking awful! Anyone with half a brain knows those signs aren't recyclable!

They are. You just have to waste a bunch of gasoline to drive the sign to the landfill for recycling. Can't put it in the blue cart.

What neighbourhood are you in? I’m in SW Calgary and have yet to see a single UCP sign on private property… first time I can ever remember that happening.
It’s only day 1 though, and of course which streets you happen to frequent makes a huge difference for that sort of thing. If I’m being honest I drive and walk the same handful of streets in my area on most days….

I'm not sure the photo above is proof of that actually. looks a bit weekend at Bernies without the sunglasses (admittedly I have no interest in clicking the video)

In my community which is part of a pretty reliably conservative riding (Calgary West) so far I've seen several NDP signs and no UCP signs, hopefully an indication of a shift.

I think the UCP just haven't been out in a lot of 'hoods yet. On bike from downtown I didn't see any through any communities I ride through.
Or maybe they are just going to give up. *fingers crossed*

No he wasn't. He was just placed in the land of lemmings. McDavid or James Neal would have won if they ran.
